Kinukamori Waterfalls (Marangu Waterfalls) Tour

Kinukamori Waterfalls is at times interchangably referred to as Marangu Waterfalls. Under any name, it is a lovely, relaxing destination. Located just a 20 minute walk from the bustle of Marangu Mtoni, you enter into the soothing sounds and sights of the rainforest on the lower elevations of Mt Kilimanjaro. Spend the day hiking and taking in the lush flora and fauna, swimming in the Una River under the waterfalls, hearing the history and folklore that surrounds this area, enjoying lunch and drinks, and exploring the system of caves present here. There is a campground nearby and arrangements can be made for tent and equipment rentals (or bring your own), there are hot water showers, the option of meal preparation provided for you is available, and a bar with satellite TV is not far away. The campground has a 24 hour security watchman to insure a safe stay.
Overnight camping: $20/person includes tent rental, hot shower, breakfast, secured area
$15/person if you bring your own tent
tent rental: $10/tent
